SINGER / SONG WRITER
Saoirse Casey is a 19 year old singer songwriter from Kildare, who likes to spend most of her time painting and writing. She has flirted with the guitar on and off throughout her childhood but really started to appreciate the instrument at the age of 18.Since then she has started writing songs and is currently recording some of them for what she hopes to be her first release later on this year. Her favourite songs have been ones that can stand alone as poetry, so she has tried to emulate this. Some of her writing gives a slightly fairytale twist to common themes like love, loss and bears. She lives with her dad, her dog Prince, her uncle and her newborn kitten called ‘Bear’ and is very happy indeed.
P.S. Her granny says she is a brilliant singer ;)
Alice's Restaurant Naas
Wholesome Cafe & Bakery with nutrition and flavour at the heart. Alice's Restaurant cater for celebrations and events of any size and occasion.
Established on October 12 1991 Alice’s Restaurant takes it’s name from an Arlo Guthrie song and movie from 1968. Alice didn’t have a restaurant then and nor does she now. The owner’s name is Eibhlín. The ethos is the same though, wholesome cooking using the best of ingredients. The meat, ham, chicken and beef is Irish and cooked on the premises. Soups made from locally produced vegetables and herbs, are bought from the local county market when in season and made fresh daily. The brown soda bread is made from Eibhlín’s mothers recipe and this recipe has travelled far and wide with visitors to Ireland bringing it back home with them. Fresh salads are another speciality with the emphasis on wholesomeness using fresh herbs, lemons, seeds, salad leaves and vegetables.Official Website
